Cottonwood is excited to host ongoing community discussions exploring the business of art. Every third Saturday, local gallery curators, art scene mavens, and artists of all experience levels will have an informal, round table conversation about what it takes to be a professional artist. Please join us and be a part of the discussion!

MAY’S theme is Curate Your Own Work. Curation is the process of selecting and organizing artworks for an exhibition. Many artists wind up being their own first curator…hanging their own work in a coffee shop or even their living room for that very first show. Find out how gallery curators do it so you can make your art look its very best! We’ll discuss several approaches, as well as lighting and installation tips.
